Q.How far is Taketoritei Maruyama from both Arima Onsen train & bus stations?
The distance from our hotel to the town center（where the bus & train stations are located）is around 500 meters, 15 minutes by walk. Our hotline for pick-up service is +81 (0)78-904-0631. We are able to arrive from the hotel to your destination in 5~8 minutes.
Q. Does the hotel provide free parking space?
Yes. There is. We have a parking lot for up to 20 cars in front of our entrance.
Q.What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in time is 3:00 PM. Check out time is until 11:00 AM only.
Q.What are the toiletries and items available in the guest rooms?
We are providing bath & face towels, toothbrush set, hair blower, shower caps and grooming sets in the bathroom. Two sets of Japanese clothes (yukata and samue) are also available in the closet. For special requests, feel free to contact us.
Q.What are the available plans for children?
Children are grouped by age difference.
Child A plan is for 12 years old and below. Price is 70% of adults charge. Adult meals and Japanese bed included.
Child B plan is for 12 years old and below. Price is 14,850 JPY. Children meals and Japanese bed included.
Child C plan is for 12 years old and below. Price is 10,450 JPY. Only children meal included. (No Japanese bed)
Child D plan is for 12 years old and below. Price is 8,250 JPY. Only Japanese bed included. (No children meal)
Child E plan is for 3 years old and above. Price is 3,850 JPY.
Child F plan is for 2 years old and under. Free of charge.
Q.Is there a dining hall available for groups?
There is no dining hall available in our hotel. We can arrange group meals for the same private room in our restaurants for up to 12 persons only.
Q.Is it possible to smoke in the hotel premises?
Yes, we have two (2) smoking areas in the hotel; at the hotel entrance and 1st floor lobby smoking room. Please refrain on smoking inside the guest rooms, hotel lobby, restaurants and hot springs.
Q.What are the reception hours for telephone reservation?
We accept telephone reservation from 9:00 AM to 19:00 PM only. After the available hours, please make your reservation through our home page.
Q.Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?
We regret to inform you that our hotel entrance is not wheelchair friendly. Our hotel entrance has a 13-step stairway and no wheelchair ramp available. The entrance for the private hot springs has an 10-step stairway and no ramp available as well. Hence, these areas are wheelchair friendly.
Q.Is there free WiFi available?
There is free WiFi access available in the hotel premises.

Q.Q. What are the hours for the public hot springs?
Hot spring open hours: 3:00 PM – 12:00 MN. 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Q.Do guests have complete access to both golden and silver hot springs?
There is no Public Hot Springs in Taketoritei Maruyama. However, there are eight (8) private hot spring rooms complimentary to our guests. Four (4) indoor rooms are on the 1st floor, and four (4) outdoor rooms are on the 4th floor. Reservation is on a first come, first served basis.
Q.Q. May guests enjoy Hot springs only in hotel?
We do not offer hot springs only plan. For day use plan, you can inquire with our partner hotel, Koki.
Q.Are private hot springs available?
Complimentary private hot springs is part of our hotel guest experience. You can reserve a 45-minute time slot after check-in. Our private open-air hot spring hours is from 2:30 PM to 12:15 AM and 6:00 AM to 10:45 AM. Indoor hot spring hours is from 3:00 P.M to 12 A.M and 6:30 AM to 10:15 AM.
Q.Can guests with tattoos enter the hot spring (onsen)?
Yes, guests with tattoos are welcome to use Taketoritei Maruyama's hot spring (onsen).
We understand that tattoos are a form of personal expression and that they hold cultural and spiritual significance for many people. We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the relaxing and rejuvenating experience of an onsen, regardless of whether or not they have tattoos.
Q.Does the hotel serve dinner and breakfast in the guest rooms?
No, we do not serve meals in the guest rooms. However, we provide guests with private rooms in our restaurants for our Kaiseki dinner and breakfast meals.
Q.What’s the time for dinner and breakfast?
Dinner time starts from 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30 PM.
Breakfast time starts from 7:30, 8:00, 8:30, 9:00 AM only.
Q.Can guests bring their own drinks in restaurant?
We do not accept drink from outside during dinner and breakfast. It is fine to have drinks in your room.
Q.Is it possible to alter the menu to accommodate meal preference and allergies?
For meal preferences and allergies, please contact us in advance (least three (3) days before check-in) via E-mail or phone call. We cannot accommodate guests with the following allergies:
Bonito stock and condiments that contain soybean and wheat.
Q.Why can't I find plans with meals in the plan reservation search?
If your choice of plan does not appear in the reservations search results for your preferred date, it means that our restaurant is already fully booked.
Q.Can guests make payment by credit card?
Guests can make payment by JCB、VISA、MasterCard、American Express、DinersClub and so on.
Q.What is the hotel cancellation policy?
8 – 14 days before check-in date – 10% of total price as penalty fee
2 – 7 days before check-in date – 30% of total price as penalty fee
1 day before check-in date – 50 % of total price as penalty fee
No-show for check-in date – 100% of total price as penalty fee

Q.What should I do to fix the error message about cookies on the reservation page?

Abouot Arima Onsen
Q.How long does it take from our hotel to the main street by walk?
It will take around ten minutes by walk. Our staff will provide you a map and guide you to the shortcut as well.
Q.Can guests still use the free shuttle bus after check-out?
We can bring you anywhere in Arima Onsen after your check-out time. We can also keep your luggage first if you to walk around first, and then bring you to the main street. Please just call us afterwards and we will deliver the luggage to you. (Within Arima Onsen only)
Q.How can I go to Mt. Rokko for the night view?
There are two main modes of transportation from Arima Onsen to Mt. Rokko:
1. Via Cable car: Price is 1,860 JPY per person. For a 12 minute scenic cable car ride from Arima Onsen ropeway station to Rokko Sancho station. Time table is different per season and not available for winter (not in operation). Our front desk staff will gladly assist you for your itinerary.
2. Via Taxi round trip for night viewing: 8,500 JPY for a round trip ride. The package comes with a ten minute stay in the viewing deck.
